This piece of writing lists conditions when not to use aromatherapy and things what you must tell your Therapist
WHEN NOT TO USE AROMATHERAPY
Following are the conditions under which one must not use aromatherapy
- Acute chest pain or pain in jaws arms or throat.
- Persistent coughs and sore throats
- Unexplained swelling of any body part.
- When blood is passed before during or after passing stools.
- Persistent headaches or one sided headaches.
- When there is frequent urge to urinate.
- During jerks, convulsions and fits.
What you must tell your aroma therapist:
- If you have any of the above symptoms tell your therapist.
- Tell your doctor about your habits, nature of work and other
treatments you have been taking.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or if you have any heart
ailment or pain in any part of the body.
- Always tell your therapist about your like, dislikes,
aversions and weakness to certain items.
- When you make a visit to your therapist take your clinical
tests like X Rays, MRI, CT Scans along with for reference.
