Strain is bad for health in every condition and for every one. There may be several reasons behind it from immoderate physical exercise to everyday life complexities. But one should always try to avoid it in every form.

Our body substance and nerve centers should be restored at regular intervals in order to recharge it. After all like other living beings we too need periodic rest to continue our work as well as our living.

However one must learn how to steal few moments of rest from our daily busy routine and relax before moving on.
Those few moments of relaxation could be adjusted even in between various activities like -
  • Only 15 minutes between two jobs,
  • In an armchair,
  • Sitting with your feet up,
  • In the shade,
  • In silence etc
  • Close your eyes for two minutes and think of nothing
This break of a short period relaxation is even more valuable before and after taking the meals. We should also take refuge from the -
  • Distractions and excitement,
  • Restlessness of modern lifestyle,
  • Telephone traffic,
  • Noise and pollution,
  • Business worries,
  • Tension in day to day life and
  • Several private and public commitments
All these simply lead you to get squeezed out fighting against the clock, late night eating and drinking sessions and unnecessary strain of numerous night outs, which obviously make you more prone to the cellulitis.

Each one of us may have different requirements depending upon his/her capability. But in general 81/2 hours sleep is considered essential for a normal individual. Ideally he should
  • Go to bed at 10. 30 p.m.
  • Get up at 7 a.m.
  • Only one weekly outing or party, which keeps you up till 1 a.m. could be allowed but not more than that.
Moreover you should plan your vacations during the warm weather.

Winters should be a period of comparative rest when life slows down. You can go to the hilly areas in winters because the air there is splendid so you can fill your lungs with pure fresh air.

All these efforts simply show that one must learn how to take proper rest and not let your energy waste.
