YOUTHFUL SKIN CARE

A mature skin develops fine lines on the outer layer of the skin since the skin cells are dry and they loose the ability to retain moisture. With the passage of time, activity of the oil glands also decreases and this results in the loss of moisture finely giving the skin a coarse look. With time, skin also loses its elasticity and resilience, which set the stage for wrinkles and pimples.

Due to excess of skin cells over the outer surface, skin gets coarsened and this is known as cellular-buildup. This may be accompanied with uneven pigmentation, that is, uneven patches are formed on the skin.

For combating the dryness of the skin, removing the cellular buildup, retaining the moisture and increasing the activity of the oil gland, corrective measures along with specialized treatments must be undertaken.

Some areas are more vulnerable to the aging process, such as the area around the eyes and neck. The skin around the eyes is very thin and those creams are required that are light in texture. Almond creams are ideal for this region. But the cream should not remain applied all night long since it may led to puffy and swollen eyes. Usually, masks are not applied in the delicate region around the eyes but special masks are available that can be used in this delicate region also. The special seaweed mask is light and watery in consistency and is easy to apply and remove and hence, no pulling and stretching of skin are caused. Daily skin care routine should involve application of cream for some minutes around the eyes and a facemask should also be applied on the neck because neck usually suffers from neglect.

For revitalizing the skin, weekly facial plays a very important role. Massage tones up the facial muscles and enhances the oil gland activity and the blood circulation. It relaxes the skin and helps the skin receptivity.

By the use of specialized masks, cellular build up can be removed from the skin. To check the adverse effects, intensive moisturization should be undertaken, this helps in protecting the skin from further loss of moisture. Treatments are undertaken when the skin forms uneven patches so as to impart an even color tone to the skin. The two specialized skin treatments that have produced good results are- the thermo herb mask and the vegetable peel. Vegetable peel refines the skin by following a gentle dermabrasive process.

Thermoherb Mask- it is a mini face-lift tat contains the extracts of various herbs that rejuvenate the skin. This mask hardens on the skin thus creating an ideal temperature between the skin and the mask itself due to which the skin's capacity to absorb the products increases drastically. This mask comes out in one piece leaving the skin tighter.

Many plant products have also helped in this context. Cactus, aloe Vera, ginseng and seaweed are powerful rehydrants, while the extracts of almond, apricot, cabbage, wheat germ and carrot have been used in the nourishing creams, which enhance the cell activity and encourage moisture retention.

Weekly professional care along with daily care and nourishment help in protecting the skin and maintaining it.
