Homemade Face Mask Recipes



1. Quick Orange Mask

Ingredients:
Orange Juice
Curd or Milk
Honey


Method: mix a tablespoon of orange juice with a spoonful of honey and milk. Apply and wash after 15 minutes. It will help in giving your face instant glow.

2. Egg Mask for Dry Skin

Ingredients:

Egg Yolk
Honey or curd
Lavender essential oil
Sandal wood powder

Method: beat the egg yolk with a tablespoon of curd or honey. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Add in sandal wood powder gradually to make a thick paste. Apply all over face and neck. The egg yolk will nourish the skin while the curd and honey will moisturise it. The sandal wood will work against the wrinkles and will provide the desire glow.

3. Anti Wrinkle Face Mask:

Ingredients:
Egg white
Grated apple
Jojoba essential oi
l Rosewater
Method: beat the egg white along with a few drops of jojoba essential oil and rosewater. Add grated apple. Apply the mask all over face and neck. Egg white and apply are anti-wrinkle agents which will reduce your wrinkles and stretch your skin. Jojoba essential oils is also good for the skin and rose water is a natural toner that tones as well as moisturises.

4. Mud Mask for Scars:

Ingredients:
Fuller's Earth
Rose water
Curd
Method: mix a bowl of fuller’s earth with rose water and curd to make an even thick paste. Apply a thick layer of the pack on face and neck for at least 20 minutes. When the pack is dry, use wet cotton ball to moisten the pack. Gently rub to remove the pack once it is wet again. Splash with cold water.

5. Banana skin Revitalising Face Pack:

Ingredients:
Banana
Papaya
Orange slice
Method: blend all the three in a proportion of 2:2:1 in a blnder to make a thick paste. Apply all over face and neck. Wash with normal water after 15 minutes. Your face will feel and look revitalised and soft.

6. Right out of Kitchen Face Pack:

Ingredients:
Besan or gram flour
Wheat flour
A Pinch of Turmeric
Stale Curd
Method: mix equal quantities of besan and wheat flour with a pinch of turmeric along with stale curd to make a paste. Apply and wash after 20 minutes. Gram four is good for wrinkles and clogged pores, white flour gently scrubs as your remove the pack and the curd moisturises.

7. Neem and Clove anti-pimple mask:

Ingredients:
Neem leaves
3-4 cloves
Mint leaves
Rose water
Method: take a handful of neem and mint leaves along with the cloves. Use a blnder to mix them thoroughly. Add a few drops of rose water. Refrigerate for sometime. Apply evenly all over face and neck. This is really helpful for pimples and acne.

8. Cucumber face pack for sun burns:

Ingredients:
Cucumber
Sandalwood powder
Rose water
Curd
Method: take half a cucumber and blend it with sandalwood powder and curd using a blender. Add few drops of rose water. Refregerate for 10 minutes and then apply. It will help relieve sun burns and will even reduce your sun tan.

9. Anti-tan face pack

Ingredients:
Lime juice
Cucumber juice
Sandal wood powder
Rose water
Honey
Curd
Tomato Juice or grated potato
Method: mix in a spoonful of lime juice, cucumber juice, tomato juice or add a grated potato, rose water. Blend in rose water, honey and curd. Mix all of them thoroughly; you can use a hand blender if you like. Apply it your face neck, hands and feet. It will reduce your tan effectively if used regularly.

10. Rejuvenating grape Mask:
Ingredients:
5-6 grapes
Apple juice
Orange Juice

Method: mash in 5-6 grapes, add a spoonful of apple juice and orange juice each. Apply with the help of cotton wool. Leave for 10 miuntes. Splash with cold water and wash. Your skin will be visibly glowing.

11. strawberry and avocado face mask:

Ingredients:
3-4 strawberries
Avocado

Method: take the pulp of the strawberries and avocado. Mix then well and apply for 20 minutes. Wash with cold water. Your skin will be visibly soft and will shine with a healthy glow.

12. Carrot and Honey Face Mask:

Ingredients:
1 medium sized carrot
Half a cup honey
Mashed papaya or banana
Fuller's earth

Method: blend the carrot in a blender along with honey, and papaya or banana. Add fuller's earth to make a thick paste. Apply all over face for around 20n minutes. Wash with lukewarm water. Your face with instantly glow.

13. Aloe Vera Face Mask:

Ingredients:
Aloe vera gel or pure aloe vera
Soaked almonds
Chamomile or rose essential oil
Honey

Method: take almonds that have been soaked overnight and grind them to make a fine paste. Whip in aloe vera gel and add a few drops of chamomile essential oil or rose essential oil. Add a spoonful of honey. The mask naturally moisturises your skin, tightens it and visibly reduces wrinkles if used regularly.
