An effective butt toning routine needs regular exercise with self discipline for your exercise. Most of us want to know how to tone up butt. Well, there are numbers of exercises which should be done to get toned, sexy butt.
Squat Squat is the most preferred & recommended exercise to tone your butt. For squat you have to stand with your feet shoulder width apart & hold dumbbells at your sides. Keep your head straight maintaining the natural arch in your back & knees soft. Bend your knees and hips to a sitting position, or as low as you can comfortably go without pain or discomfort in the lower back or knees. Allow your arms to swing forward for maintaining balance. Your buttocks should never drop below the level of your knees, and extend beyond the toes. Slowly rising to a standing position, with knees and hips straight, allow the arms to drop back to your sides. Repeat the exercise. Lying Butt Bridge For doing lying butt bridge you need to lie flat on your back on a mat with your knees bent, pointing up to the ceiling and arms at your sides. Now, simply raise your pelvis up toward the ceiling where your body will be at a 45 degree angle relative to the floor. At the top of the movement, flex your butt for a one-count & return to the starting position and repeat. Leg Lifts For toning your butt leg lift is one of the important exercises. Keep standing with your feet about shoulder width apart and grab a squat rack or something sturdy. Now curl one of your legs back behind you as you are kicking yourself in the butt with your heel. Keep your knee still and focus on your butt and hamstring to do the work. Again flex your butt and hamstring for a one-count when your leg is at the top of the movement back behind you. Now, return to the starting position and repeat the whole process with the opposite leg. Ball Butt Lifts Most of the times you play with balls but you have never thought that it can work as an exercise for toning up your butt. For this exercise lie on your side on a mat with your arms crossed in front of your body. Now, place a large exercise ball between your feet and slowly lift the ball up toward the ceiling using your hips and butt. Again, return to the starting position and repeat. Dumbbell Bench Step Ups You have to stand next to a flat bench with a dumbbell in each of your hand hanging at your sides. Now step up onto the bench with one of your foot and then bring up the other foot so that you can end up standing on the bench with both feet. To return to the floor, step backward off of the bench with the same foot you started with. Again, repeat the movement with the opposite foot and alternate the steps for 10 repetitions on each leg. Now, these tone up butt exercise will surely help you. But make sure to do these exercises slowly & with intense to get desired result. |
