EYE SHADOW TIPS AND TRICKS

  • For the full eye make up you should shape your eyebrows. Eye make up also includes the application of eyeliner and mascara along with the eye shadow.
  • You should select the pastelle for daytime and the adventurous for nighttime.
  • You should use the light shade to cover the entire eyelid that is from the lash line to the brow.
  • You should apply the medium shade on the lower lid.
  • And apply the darkest shade to the outer corners of the eyes from lash line to the crease.
  • You can intensify the dark shade for a more dramatic nighttime look.
  • You should use the lighter shades to highlight under the brow.
  • When you want to apply light shades such as blue, beige, light green and light gray then you should first draw a thin line with the help of liquid eyeliner or eye shadow pencil, over the upper lash line because usually the light shades make your eyes look smaller in size.
  • You should use brushes to apply eye shadow. And try to avoid those nasty foam applicators that come with it.
  • Never share the eye makeup tools because by doing so you may unknowingly transfer eye infections to one another such as the conjunctivitis.
  • Somehow if you get the shadow in your eyes then you should flush it gently with tepid water.
  • You should avoid testing shades on the back of your palm because the color of the palm is different from that of eyelids.
  • While applying eye shadow to the crease of the eye, you should keep your eyes open and also tilt your head slightly backward. Doing so will not only enable you to better see the shape that you are creating but also allow the shadow to set into the crease.
  • In case you have puffy eyelids then you should not use iridescent or frosted eye shadows in white or light colors. Instead you should apply softer matte colors.
  • Is the Melting eye shadow a real problem for you too?
  • Cheer up now, as there is a way to make it stick for little longer.
  • If you use a damp eye shadow brush and apply a layer of face powder to your lids and allow it setting, the shadow will stay in place for the day.
