Purpose of face powder or compact is to provide even finish to the makeup.
Powder sets your makeup, creating a shine-free, even finish. Use loose powder at home, and carry a pressed powder compact for a midday touchup.
Steps:
- After you have finished applying foundation and concealer and before you have applied the eye makeup start applying the face powder.
- Release powder into the top section of the container by tipping the container and gently tapping the bottom.
- Take a large puff and dip it into the powder. Tap the puff lightly to remove any excess powder.
- Dust your face with powder. Stroke your face with the puff gently to cover all areas evenly. Now continue with the eye makeup.
- Next time you need to do touch up just dab a small amount of powder onto a cosmetic puff and apply it to shiny areas or places where your makeup has become thin.
