Delicate and delightful taste of cabbage soup diet with onion, pint milk, corn flour, seasoned with parsley.

Cabbage Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
1 small cabbage
1 small onion
1 pint white stock
1/2 pint milk
1/2 oz. cornflour
chopped parsley
pepper and salt

How to make {actual-title}:
  • Wash the cabbage, removing the stalk and all coarse outside leaves.
  • Drain, chop finely, plunge into boiling salted water and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Drain and add to the stock with the chopped onion, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 20 minutes.
  • Make a paste with the cornflour and milk, and add, stirring all the time until soup boils.
  • Season to taste and add the chopped parsley at the last moment before serving.
